My friend T-chan introduced me to a fascinating new addition to Fukuoka's culinary scene, a vibrant and ethnic restaurant, Nononeco, nestled in the heart of central Fukuoka city.
Per their Instagram page, the month's specialty is exotic and flavorful Goan cuisine, so I eagerly looked forward to our visit to Nononeco.
We ordered two Nononeco thali and a plate of half-sized masala dosa, and then the man in the kitchen prepared a phulka for each of us.
Dosa was relatively thick; perhaps it was Mysore style! The fish (perhaps mackerel or horse mackerel) rava fry was incredibly delicious. The newest type of experience for me was a mere one piece of pani-puri!
Nononeco's strategic location near the Yakuin Station ensures a hassle-free dining experience for all. During our visit, we witnessed the restaurant catered to a group of foreigners in search of a vegetarian option.

Thicker dosa.

The menu is simple.

Old Monk, 800 yen per glass.
