Nara is the ancient capital of Japan, called Heijo-kyo, and home to numerous important archeological sites.
Kofuku-ji Temple of Nara is near the JR and Kintetsu Nara Stations, making it easily reachable. We had the privilege of visiting this city steeped in history, home to the renowned Kofuku-ji Temple.
