I found here by typing "shrines near me" on Google.

Koami Shrine is located in the heart of Japan's most significant business district, Nihombashi.

Despite its modest size, Koami Shrine, a small yet spiritually significant place, draws worshippers and tourists alike throughout the year. It holds a quiet, spiritual weight that transcends the city's bustling ambition, anchoring it in something timeless and profound. People visit here in the hope of finding good fortune and better luck. But for many, it's more than that—a gentle act of hope, a wish for protection, a whisper of gratitude.

As we approached the shrine, we were greeted by a long queue, a testament to the shrine's spiritual significance. The morning light gently illuminated the shrine's old roof tiles, and the air carried the faint scent of incense, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere.

A woman was washing Japanese yen notes in the water, indicating seriousness in her worship. Her hands moved slowly and respectfully, as if cleansing more than just money, perhaps fear, or longing. It was a profoundly human moment that made me pause. Each item I picked, from the charms for my mother in Fukuoka to the pencils for myself, felt quietly meaningful. It was as if I was not just gifting them souvenirs, but little bundles of hope and good energy, each carrying a piece of my personal experience at Koami Shrine.
