Finding an Indian vegetarian-friendly casual food in Japan is not easy, so whenever I find a possible option, I feel excited!
Today I had this delicious wrap in a Starbucks Coffee outlet near my mother's house in Fukuoka, Japan.
サラダラップ 雑穀&ビーンズ バジル (Salad Wrap - Grains & Beans, Basil)
I checked the ingredients mentioned in the nutrition details pasted on the back side of the film and also cross-checked with the Barista that this did not contain any meat, fish or non-vegetarian food items. However, it contained onions so some Jain people may not consume. Cheese also included (so perhaps not vegan-friendly.)
According to the Barista, there is another Salad Wrap product that is likely to be suitable for the consumption of Indian vegetarian people.
サラダラップ 12品目野菜 レモンクリーム (Salad Wrap - Twelve Varieties of Vegetables & Lemon Cream)
By the way, during the research, I could not help but feel doubtful about why a global company like Starbucks Coffee does not present full ingredients of each menu, nor proper English information on their official website.
Starbucks Coffee Japan, English website
As of June 2016, they have hardly useful information in English.
