An-Mitsu Mihashi, Unforgettable Flavors

I visited here over a month ago, but I still feel yummy remembering Mihashi.

Ueno, a bustling and increasingly international tourist center, offers a unique experience. As you wander the streets, you'll notice a delightful blend of cultures, with shop staff conversing in a multitude of languages, creating a vibrant and cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Ueno, nestled near Asakusa, offers a more serene and less crowded environment, making it an ideal destination for a leisurely stroll or a relaxed shopping experience. And when you need a break, you can conveniently rest right in front of the Ueno Station.

Mihashi, a quaint dessert shop located just across from Ueno Park, offers a delightful blend of traditional and contemporary Japanese sweets. Stepping inside, you'll be greeted by a nostalgic interior that transports you back in time to its establishment, which was 1948. I highly recommend trying their specialty, the "Cream An-Mitsu," a delightful concoction of "bean jam, agar, and pieces of fruit served in syrup (Daijisen)," topped with a dollop of soft serve. The flavors, like a symphony from heaven, will leave a lasting impression on your taste buds.
